Hello and welcome—you’re now in The Perna Syndicate! This week we’re talking about the highly entrepreneurial Generation Z and how they’re turning business upside down. One such teen entrepreneur, Destiny Snow, grew her business to over $1 million in revenue in just two years (pandemic years, at that). Where did she get that spark?

Destiny told me that she knew she could succeed as an entrepreneur because she’d seen it done. She grew up watching her mother successfully own and operate several businesses. Her mother’s success inspired Destiny to think about her own future in terms of entrepreneurship. 

Not everyone has the advantage of being reared by a successful entrepreneur, but we can all find a model who can inspire us to achieve great things. And I think this extends beyond the realm of just starting your own business. Everyone needs a model to aspire to, someone who has achieved what we dream of doing—someone who motivates us. 

This can be a person in your personal life or someone you follow online. Whoever it is, we should pick a person that we can observe and learn from. Destiny says it’s much easier to believe that something can be done after seeing it be done.
